Flannel Fest 2025 at The Ledge Ampitheater Did Not Disappoint!

What has become an annual end of the season event, Flannel Fest 2025 at the Ledge Amphitheatre in Waite Park was a great success. Fun was had by all with great music and fun events. They got lucky this year with beautiful weather and it was a great turn out. 

While we were there, a couple of the performers were Michael Shynes and Mason Dixon Line who both had great music sets and they had people singing and dancing along. They are both local favorites and every time I’ve seen them, I have enjoyed listening to them live and have had a great time. 

Some of the notable events were best beard, best dressed and the Stein Holding contest. This was something fun for those who entered and those who were watching in the crowd. Anyone could compete as they had a spot for you to enter yourself in any of the contests. It’s something unique to their event that makes you want to watch or be part of. 

You could also enter for the grand prize and door prize giveaways which was the finale of the day and earlier in the event, there were many, many tents set up for alcohol sampling. 

They of course had other concessions for alcohol and non alcohol beverages along with food trucks and different tents and games set up around the area. If the music and events on the main stage weren’t enough, every area of the space at the Ledge had something going on.

Hats off to the Management and Staff at the Ledge. We go to many different events and shows and most are not run as well as this venue is. Everything ran on time which is so rare. The space, with so much going on, was organized and put together in a very nice flow. There is a lot of staff around to help out and to do their best to make sure there aren’t any issues which there weren’t. People were just there to have a great time.  

It was a great send off to this season of The Ledge Amphitheater and I can’t wait until the 2026 season. They have so many different types of music guests and even local events that there is always something for anyone.
