Coconut Tiger rocked the house at Legends Bar and Grill on Saturday, October 18th, and it was a night to remember. Hailing from Woodbury, Minnesota, you may not have heard of Coconut Tiger, but you should have. They are definitely more entertaining than many bands. And they keep you interested, not just by the music they select to play, but also by the tight musicianship along with the energy and show the lead singer puts on. We spend a lot of time watching local bands all around central Minnesota as it’s something we really enjoy, but they stood out. We started out at one of our favorite bars for local music, Legends Bar and Grill, and we had great service all night with an extra special shout out to our waitress, Sam, for keeping the beverages flowing all night. We were only supposed to stay for a couple of drinks, but ended staying 3 hours just to stay and watch this fabulous band.
From music selections like Joan Jet to Cheap Trick to the Killers and the Scorpions, there is something for everyone. They had the crowd dancing and singing along all night. This is definitely a band to keep your eye on and go see when you get the chance. My name is Seven from illuminet and this is a I’ll be.
